Supported Sources
NDI, OMT, DeckLink, desktop capture, Dante and other inputs on the sender.
Stream Bridge Bridge Sharing connects paired production devices over the internet, so a remote feed appears as a local source at the other end. No NDI Bridge setup, no port forwarding and no VPN.
NDI, OMT, DeckLink SDI, desktop capture or Dante from the sending machine.
Install Stream Bridge at each site and pair each device with its connection key.
Pick the source and bridge it to the receiving device. No ports, VPN or network admin.
It comes out on the receiving device as NDI, OMT or DeckLink SDI.
Bridge Sharing works with any source Stream Bridge supports - NDI, OMT, Blackmagic SDI, desktop capture, Dante and more. Install the desktop app on the sending and receiving machines, create a device on the dashboard for each, enter the connection keys, pick your source and start the stream.
Open Bridge Sharing in the dashboard and drag the active stream from the source panel onto the receiving device - the bridge connects automatically. On the receiving machine the feed appears under NDI or OMT in the Stream Bridge subdirectory for OBS, vMix and other software, or routes out through compatible Blackmagic DeckLink hardware as SDI when Card Output is enabled.
That makes cross-border workflows straightforward. Send an NDI programme feed from a venue in one country and take it out as SDI on a DeckLink card at a production hub in another, without joining the two sites on one network. You can also drop the same stream onto more than one receiver when several locations need the same feed.
There's no public IP address to exchange and no manual network configuration at either site. Stream Bridge prefers a direct route between the two devices and uses its cloud network when firewall or NAT rules block that path. Bridge status, automatic reconnection and live device telemetry stay visible in the dashboard throughout the session.
To get started straight away, join our beta, download the application, and get streaming. We also have a host of documentation available that goes through all of the features of Stream Bridge, troubleshooting issues, and our support team are ready to help if needed.

NDI, OMT or Blackmagic DeckLink SDI on the receiver.
No port forwarding, no VPN, no public IP exchange.
Controlled bridges, named outputs and dashboard visibility.
Practical answers about Bridge Sharing setup, all supported sources, DeckLink SDI output, networking, audio and how it compares to NDI Bridge.
NDI Bridge extends NDI across a WAN but typically needs port forwarding, public addressing and more network setup. Stream Bridge Bridge Sharing connects paired devices over the internet with drag-and-drop setup, supports all Stream Bridge input types - not just NDI - and publishes the feed as local NDI, OMT or DeckLink SDI on the receiver.
Any source available on the sending device - NDI, OMT, Blackmagic DeckLink and SDI inputs, desktop capture, Dante audio and other supported production inputs. Enable the relevant source types in Device Settings, create the stream, then drag it onto the receiving device in Bridge Sharing.
Yes. Bridge an NDI source from the sending device to a receiver with compatible Blackmagic DeckLink hardware and Card Output enabled. The remote feed can be assigned to selected SDI output ports, so it arrives as a standard SDI input for vision mixers, routers and monitors at the destination site.
As a named NDI or OMT source under the Stream Bridge subdirectory, ready for OBS, vMix and other compatible software - in addition to any DeckLink SDI output you have configured.
Yes. Drop the same active stream onto more than one connected receiver. Each bridge is a separate connection, so plan sender upload for your configured bitrate multiplied by the number of simultaneous routes.
Bridge status in the dashboard shows connected, connecting, pending or inactive. If a stream stops while bridged, it reconnects when the stream starts again. If either end drops off the network, the route stays configured and works to restore once both sides are back.
